RICK SANTORUM'S BOOK SAYS ABOUT THE 60's . . .

"We now have a generation that has grown up with the belief, inspired by the Sixties' free-love assault on sexual mores, that true love is a feeling, and that it should not be resisted or constrained--rather, its ultimate validation is through sexual relations, without regard to the outdated social convention of marriage." (Unless he was a particularly precocious conservative, Santorum is channeling the opinions of others in his scorn for the Sixties. He was 11 years old at the time of Woodstock).
Why would Santorum, in his book, "It Takes a Family" say that the sixties sexual free-love disrupted the ideal family unit?  What actually happened in the 60's that caused the sexual free-love? Are the youth of today really understanding what happened in the 60's? Please opine in 50 words or less about as many or as few points that you want to  discuss.  Thanks and come back soon.
